Celebrity Reservists in Philippine Army

Manila, Philippines – Philippine Army celebrity reservists paid a courtesy call to the Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) in Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on June 21, 2021.

Maj. Gen. Andres Centino expressed his gratitude to reservists Cpt. Robin Padilla, 1st Lt. Zarah Saldua, 2nd Lt. Matteo Guidicelli, 2nd Lt. Ronnie Liang and 2nd Lt. Pia Morato for their support to the command especially in using their respective platforms to advocate the Army’s mission.

Said reservists have been working with the Army in promoting peace among the Muslim community, Filipino youth, media and entertainment industry, and other public sectors. They were also active in initiating donation and fund raising drives as well as programs to boost the Army’s response against COVID19 and calamities such as the Taal Volcano Eruption in 2020.

The celebrity reservists reiterated their commitment as volunteers in the organization to give help in any way possible. They also discussed with the CGPA the future plans to amplify the command’s information efforts in raising awareness and in sharing the stories of soldiers in the field.

“Thank you for helping the Philippine Army, we are glad that you are with us. The command is looking forward for the productive partnership in advancing the mission accomplishment of the organization,” said the CGPA.
